Heartefact invites cultural workers from the independent scene from North Macedonia to apply for a two-day workshop focused on practical audience development skills. This activity is supported by the Culture for Development project of the Government of Switzerland and is implemented by Heartefact Fund. The project aims to contribute to the growth of the arts and the shaping of socio-political norms, recognizing culture as a vital tool for fostering a more open, democratic, and interconnected society.
About the Workshop
The workshop offers tools for audience research, mapping, engagement, and co-creation. Through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, participants will apply methods directly to their current projects and organizational challenges. The working language is English, an advanced level of command is recommended.
About the facilitator
The workshop will be led by Luisella Carnelli, senior researcher at Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, a leading Italian institution specializing in cultural management, policy, and audience development. She brings extensive expertise in audience engagement, participatory practices, and evaluation.

About the call
This call is open to 20–25 cultural professionals, individually or representing cultural organizations, cultural/community centers, festivals, art associations and independent initiatives. Participants should be involved in project/program management, communications and/or community engagement.and are encouraged to bring examples of their current work to enrich the hands-on, practice-based learning process.
Logistics:
