Ljiljana Todorović Jovanović is the founder and director of FemIn kolektiv in Požarevac, Serbia, an organisation dedicated to feminist education, prevention of gender-based violence, memory culture, peacebuilding, and transitional justice.

Aleksandra Radovanovic has built a multidisciplinary career spanning data analytics and psychotherapy. She began her professional path working in HR and later combined this experience with data analysis, providing strategic people data and insights within the global development industry.

Donjeta Rexhbogaj is a legal researcher and writer from Kosovo, focusing on transitional justice, human rights and post-conflict memory.

Ana Milosavljević is a journalist and activist based in Belgrade. She reports on social movements and political developments in Serbia and the region, and has covered the student protest movement for The Guardian.

Through this program, I want to address the issue of the accessibility of cultural and educational content, as well as social protection services in rural areas, primarily in Markovac and surrounding villages.

Through this program, I want to work with education representatives, young people, and employees at the Public Health Institute of Pančevo to formalize and improve the peer education program and to officially introduce reproductive health issues into formal education.

My name is Irena Antin (24) and I am from Lukićevo. I dedicate a large part of my free time to organizing the Summer Arts Festival, which I founded in my village. Through this project, I would like to learn the right way to approach the community, how to break down social stigmas, and how I can expand my work to other local communities.

Through this program, I aim to work on improving the position of young people with mental disabilities in higher education, by advocating for changes in regulations that currently do not provide adequate forms of support for this category of students.

Through this program, I want to dedicate myself to the issue of domestic violence, with a particular focus on psychological violence and its long-term consequences. I believe this is crucial for improving human rights and the overall well-being of the community.

My name is Isidora Paklar (32) from Novi Sad. I work as an Information and Education Coordinator at the IRIDA organization. Through my participation in this program, I aim to work on a theater production addressing the topic of sexual harassment, using the short story collection “This Is Also Violence” as a foundational source.

I am Dina Bajrektarević (28) from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I grew up in Tuzla, but I currently live in Pančevo and work in Belgrade. Through this program, I want to focus on the issue of conversion therapy, which most often affects young LGBTIQ+ individuals. This practice, although widely present in our region, remains hidden and insufficiently researched.

I am Matija Stefanović (27), originally from Valjevo. My project is focused on stepping out of our narrow and comfortable activist and progressive circles and reaching smaller towns, where queer people also live—people with whom we often struggle to connect with and who do not always see LGBTIQ+ activists as working in their interest.

I am Tamara Stamenković (27) from Vranje. I plan to launch a series of educational workshops and mentorship programs to provide concrete tools and support for women and marginalized groups who wish to safely use digital technologies in their businesses and everyday lives.

I am Milan Filipović from Niš. Through this project, I want to focus on supporting, professionally training, and integrating young people who are leaving foster care or family placement. I plan to achieve this through various workshops, networking with all relevant institutions in Niš and Serbia, and establishing my own non-governmental organization.

I founded the Čačak Association for People with Dementia – Č.U.D.O., which focuses on raising awareness about dementia, educating both formal and informal caregivers, and advocating for systemic changes in the approach to care and the rights of people with dementia.

Hristina Mikić is the Head of the Research and Development Department at the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation and holds a PhD in economics, focusing on the development of the creative economy.

Sadie Suhodolli, also known as Tadi, is a multi-disciplinary artist and social activist from Mitrovica who holds a degree in Painting from the Fine Arts University in Prishtina. She is a co-founder of Bijat, a feminist/queer collective from Pristina.

Adea Batusha is a sociologist of education who graduated from Uppsala University. She is the Executive Director of the Institute for Research, Action, and Educational Policy (HAPA).

Srđan Miljević is a writer from Belgrade with over ten years of experience in the civil sector, working with organizations such as Civil Rights Defenders and Forum ZFD. He is the author of a book of short stories titled Svima nam je prvi put, and his work has been featured in various anthologies and literary magazines.

Tevfik Rada is a researcher and a PhD candidate in Comparative History in CEU.

Serbeze Hexhiaj is a journalist covering issues related to establishing justice and facilitating reconciliation after the 1998-1999 Kosovo war.

Nađa Bobičić is a Research Associate at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. She received her PhD with a thesis on Yugoslav socialist feminism from 1975 to 1990.

Nora Ahmetaj specialises in human rights, conflict transformation, and transitional justice and is a long-term fellow of the Bosch Foundation Global Network.

Stefan Surlić is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade. His research focuses on democratisation, politics and ethnicity, power-sharing, state-building, and constitutional design in post-conflict societies.

My name is Turkijan Redžepi (50). Over time, I became involved in advocacy initiatives and contributed to creating local policies to improve the Roma community’s situation, resulting in the adoption of local action plans for Roma in Niš from 2018 to the present day.

I am Teodora Milosavljević (23) from Niš.My impression is that as a society, we mostly deal with the consequences rather than the roots of gender-based violence issues. I see the solution in better education and working with boys and girls from the earliest ages.

Projects like Get Moving and You Are Not Alone have aimed to raise awareness about violence against women and empower them to overcome the stigma and fear of reporting such violence.

My name is Svetlana Lazović (47). Through my years of work, I have gained the trust of the Roma community and managed to integrate Roma individuals into the healthcare system, increasing awareness of the importance of preventive check-ups and health preservation.

When provided with a safe space, they are ready to critically discuss and question dominant conservative narratives, offering potential for positive changes in the broader community.

I am Jasmina Barać-Perović (45). It is crucial to raise awareness that disability is not a defining characteristic, and since anyone can become a person with disabilities, it is necessary to provide equal participation opportunities in all social spheres.
