Our young author Jana Milivojević stayed in France, in Pont-a-Mousson, where during the one-week residency she developed and publicly presented her text “We don’t have a camper, and even if we did, we wouldn’t tell you”.
Her text is about a group of young people: He escapes his adult life by using opiates, She by deciding to move out of the student dormitory. Both are running away from growing up and facing the problems they have. The characters of Dealer, Roommate, Buksna and Telefon also appear in the piece. Only one of them manages to find their camper, keeping it from the others.
The text was translated into French by Karine Samardžija, and the public reading was directed by Gerard Watkins. Nathan Boillot, Justine Garcia, Neil-Adam Mohammedi, Charlotte Leonhardt and Romane Wicker participated in the one-week rehearsals and presentation of the text. After the public reading, a discussion with the young audience was organized.
