I am Ana Vučinić (40). I live and work in Šabac, where I was born. After graduating from Medical High School, I earned a degree in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. I am a mother of two children, Marina (18) and Jovan (12). I work at the General Hospital Šabac in the psychiatry department and also serve as a consultant at the local health center and a professional collaborator at Novitas Consult, specializing in employment and vocational rehabilitation of people with disabilities. I founded the Balance Foundation (Serbian: Fondacija Balans), supporting individuals from socially vulnerable categories. For three years, I led the association For Everyone to be Equal, Šabac (Serbian: Da budemo svi jednaki Šabac), which unites over a hundred families of children with developmental difficulties. I have implemented numerous projects to improve the quality of life for those in need, focusing on the education of Roma persons, promoting tolerance and solidarity, and social entrepreneurship. I also collaborated with the inclusive children’s choir Princes Krofne from Sarajevo. In the future, I aim to support young people with mental disorders in employment. Through Heartefact’s program, I plan to develop a project that focuses on the inclusivity of individuals with mental disorders through practical training and skill development, aiming for their integration into the labor market. This project will encourage the employment of individuals with mental disorders, providing them the opportunity to contribute to the community and feel useful.
