Grants For Artistic Expressions
Support for the realization of cultural and artistic projects and activities that are relevant both for the development of society and local communities, as well as for the development of various cultural and artistic practices of the independent artistic and cultural sector.
About call
The aim of the call is to support the realization of cultural and artistic projects and activities that are relevant both for the development of society and local communities, as well as for the development of various cultural and artistic practices of the independent artistic and cultural sector.
Throughout Serbia, there are numerous cultural and artistic organizations, local initiatives and associations, but also individuals who have enormous importance for the local community and society as a whole because they represent rare representatives and bearers of contemporary cultural and artistic expression, critical thinking, and social inclusion at the local level. Despite this, these initiatives are often faced with poor working conditions, lack of support and financial insecurity.
Grants for the realization of cultural and artistic projects provides financial support to cultural actors, enabling them to develop and present contemporary artistic practices that deal with social issues. By providing space for diverse and critical voices through cultural and artistic production, this grant line contributes to the deconstruction of entrenched narratives and encourages dialogue on key social issues.
Through this approach, the CfD project seeks to create a platform for alternative perspectives, stimulate public debate and influence the change of social attitudes towards greater openness and tolerance. Supporting these initiatives is essential not only for the long-term sustainability of the cultural sector, but also for fostering social change and strengthening the voices of marginalized groups in the public space.
By encouraging critical cultural and artistic production and diverse artistic expressions, this call directly contributes to the achievement of the broader goal of the project – strengthening democratic values and promoting social cohesion throughout Serbia.
