Following a successful theatre season during which Heartefact productions premiered or toured in New York, Milan, Brussels, Stockholm, and Skien<\/strong>, the summer at Heartefact House is marked by the beginning of a new artistic process. Rehearsals have started in Belgrade for a new original production by director Andrej Nosov, created in co-production with the Swedish theatre company SWEETS and Kontr\u00e4r.<\/p>\n\n

The production is being developed through a collaborative research process with young Swedish actor Nils Wetterholm<\/strong>. In 2025, Wetterholm received the Rising Star Award<\/strong> at the Stockholm International Film Festival, one of Sweden’s most prestigious recognitions for emerging screen actors. He is also a member of the ensemble at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten<\/strong>) in Stockholm and is widely known to Swedish and international audiences for his role in Netflix’s globally acclaimed series Young Royals<\/em>.<\/strong> Later this year, he will also appear in The Storm<\/em><\/strong>, a feature film produced by Netflix and Warner Bros.<\/p>\n\n

The creative team also includes dramaturge Sofija Dimitrijevi\u0107<\/strong>, composer Vladimir Pejkovi\u0107<\/strong>, lighting designer Na\u0111a Vukorep<\/strong>, and movement director Marija Milenkovi\u0107<\/strong>. The production is scheduled to premiere in Stockholm<\/strong> this October<\/strong>, followed by its Belgrade premiere later this year.<\/p>\n\n

This co-production continues Heartefact’s successful artistic collaboration with Sweden, which began with the premiere of Art and Money<\/em> <\/a>in November 2025. In that production, actresses Vanja Ejdus and Milica Stefanovi\u0107<\/strong> collaborated with Swedish director Freja Hallberg<\/strong> in exploring the relationship between art and capital. Following its Belgrade premiere, the production also premiered in Stockholm in February this year and has since become part of Heartefact House’s regular repertoire. Through projects such as these, Heartefact continues to connect local artists and audiences with contemporary international theatre practices.<\/p>\n\n

Following the critically acclaimed and emotionally powerful production They Are All Gone<\/em> last year, which earned him the prestigious Ljubomir Muci Dra\u0161ki\u0107 Award<\/strong> for Best Director, as well as international recognition through the Ibsen Scope Award, <\/strong>director Andrej Nosov<\/strong> continues to develop his distinctive research-based artistic practice. Working collaboratively with actors, dramaturges, and artists, he creates space for new theatrical languages, forms, and modes of artistic engagement, addressing some of the most pressing social and political issues of our time.<\/p>\n\n

This collaboration is supported by the Swedish Institute<\/strong> through the Political Loneliness<\/em> project.<\/p>\n\n
