{"id":26996,"date":"2026-06-12T10:26:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T10:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heartefact.org\/?p=26996"},"modified":"2026-08-21T12:35:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T12:35:10","slug":"supporting-new-albanian-language-playwriting-playground-mentorship-starts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heartefact.org\/en\/supporting-new-albanian-language-playwriting-playground-mentorship-starts\/","title":{"rendered":"Supporting Albanian-Language Playwrights: The Playground Mentorship Programme Begins"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce the&nbsp;launch&nbsp;of the mentorship&nbsp;phase of the&nbsp;the first edition of <em>Playground for Emerging Playwrights<\/em>, a programme dedicated to supporting&nbsp;&nbsp;Albanian-language playwrights from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following a&nbsp;highly competitive&nbsp;open call and selection process&nbsp;earlier this&nbsp;year, <strong>Fatbardha Zyberi <\/strong>and <strong>Ardit Dragusha<\/strong> have been selected to develop their original dramatic texts through the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the coming months, they will&nbsp;engage&nbsp;in a structured dramaturgical development process designed to&nbsp;nurture&nbsp;new voices and&nbsp;foster contemporary&nbsp;dramatic writing in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Doruntina Basha<\/strong>, an acclaimed&nbsp;playwright and screenwriter from Pristina, leads this year&#8217;s mentorship process.
