{"id":26882,"date":"2026-05-27T15:39:59","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T15:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heartefact.org\/call-for-applications-for-job-shadowing-program\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T07:44:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T07:44:42","slug":"call-for-applications-for-job-shadowing-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heartefact.org\/en\/call-for-applications-for-job-shadowing-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Applications for Job Shadowing Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><em>Grants for On-the-Job Training and Capacity Building of Cultural Organizations and Professionals \/ Job Shadowing<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the <strong>Culture for Democracy (CfD)<\/strong> project, Heartefact is announcing a call for applications for on-the-job training and capacity building of cultural organizations and professionals through the <strong><em>job shadowing<\/em><\/strong> model.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>About the CfD Project<\/strong><\/p><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Launched in October 2021, Culture for Democracy (CfD) is <strong>the first comprehensive and long-term initiative by Switzerland<\/strong> in the field of arts and culture in Serbia. Initiated and supported by the <strong>Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)<\/strong>, the project uses arts and culture as tools to:<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>foster <strong>social inclusion and tolerance<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote <strong>democratic values<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthen<br\/><div><b>intercultural dialogue<\/b><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>advocate for the <strong>rights of marginalized and vulnerable groups<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In its first phase (2021\u20132025), CfD supported <strong>89 projects<\/strong> across Serbia. The second phase of the project will be implemented from <strong>2025 to 2028<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>What is Job Shadowing?<\/strong><\/p><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><em>Job shadowing<\/em><\/strong> aims to build capacities of cultural and artistic professionals in Serbia by providing grants for on-the-job training and learning from practice. It is a knowledge-transfer model based on peer-to-peer learning. This scheme is open to all cultural and artistic sectors, approaches, and work modalities.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><div><b>Job shadowing may be implemented through two models:<\/b><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1) <strong>Internship model<\/strong> \u2013 open to less experienced cultural workers from Serbia who will gain valuable work experience from the <em>host<\/em> organization and its employees, or<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2) <strong>On-the-job training model<\/strong> \u2013 in which the <em>host<\/em> organization engages an expert who can contribute to higher quality and more efficient work of the organization and its employees through the exchange of knowledge and experience.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Who CAN apply?<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cultural and artistic organizations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>artistic collectives and initiatives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>other legal entities active in the field of arts and culture (such as independent foundations, endowments, limited liability companies, and\/or entrepreneurs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Grant Amount:<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The maximum amount that may be awarded per project is <strong>400,000 RSD<\/strong>.
