Set in a single apartment within the tightly regulated microcosm of a residential building, the play follows the encounter between two women whose life principles collide and gradually begin to shift. At the center of the story stands Mirjana, a linguistics professor who has built her life around order, discipline, and clearly defined rules. Her world begins to change the moment Lana enters her apartment \u2013 a young woman determined to claim her freedom within a system that often fails to recognize the very idea of it.<\/p>\n\n
<\/p>\n\n
Playwright Sofija Dimitrijevi\u0107<\/strong> explains that the rule \u201cquiet hours from two to six\u201d functions not only as a building regulation but also as a principle by which one lives, survives, or simply gets by. \u201cAs long as there is a rule to rely on, one feels safe. Once a rule is broken, discomfort follows \u2013 because if challenging something so fundamental is possible, so is the change of the entire order of things.\u201d At that moment, space opens for personal choice and for an encounter that can shift one\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n\n
Director Tara Mitrovi\u0107 <\/strong>starts from a simple premise: one building, two apartments, several neighbors, and countless rules \u2013 written and unwritten, long established or completely arbitrary.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n\n
Encounters that the audience witnesses gradually open a space where it becomes possible to question habits, fears, and loneliness, but also to find support where we least expect it.<\/p>\n\n

The cast includes Anita Man\u010di\u0107, Iva Milanovi\u0107, and Milan Zari\u0107,<\/strong> while Marta Bogosavljevi\u0107, Na\u0111a Sekuli\u0107, and Jovana Beri\u0107 lend their voices to the performance. Tara Mitrovi\u0107 and Sofija Dimitrijevi\u0107 created the play as an authorial project. Since March, audiences have been able to watch \u201cQuiet Hours from Two to Six\u201d as part of the regular program at Heartefact House.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n\n
