The objective of this call is to build the capacities of cultural and artistic professionals and organizations in the Republic of North Macedonia by offering them hands-on, on-the-job training opportunities through learning from practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Culture for Development Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Culture for Development project is the first comprehensive, long-term intervention in the field of culture and arts in the Republic of North Macedonia. The project is supported by <strong>the Government of Switzerland <\/strong>and will be implemented by Heartefact Fund from the end of 2024 to the end of 2028. The project aims to contribute to the growth of the arts and the shaping of socio-political norms, recognizing culture as a vital tool for fostering a more open, democratic, and interconnected society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who CAN apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Cultural and artistic organizations;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Artistic collectives and initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Civil society organizations that carry out cultural and artistic activities, even if this is not their primary area of activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Other legal entities active in arts and culture (independent foundations, endowments, limited liability companies, and\/or entrepreneurs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The applicant must be registered as a legal entity with the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Supported Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are no predefined thematic priorities for this call. The approach is demand-driven and designed to respond to the specific needs and interests of cultural professionals and organizations. Applicants are encouraged to define their own focus areas based on their goals, challenges, and development priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eligible activities for funding may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jointly exploring innovative artistic and\/or cultural practices through co-creation of a cultural or artistic work\/production (or multiple) with a strong educational dimension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking opportunities where directly connected to the learning objectives of the job shadowing exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhancing competencies and professional development (peer-exchange, mentorship, on-the-job training, workshop, observation of work process, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Targeted research and preparatory work directly linked to future collaboration or organizational development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grant Amount<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The maximum funding available for project implementation is up to <strong>178,500 MKD<\/strong>.
