Chairman of the Board<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A political scientist and translator, he is a member of the Institute for Social Sciences in Vienna. From 1998 to 2002, he served as Executive Director of the Belgrade Open Society Fund. Following his successful tenure in government as Senior Adviser to Prime Minister Zoran \u0110in\u0111i\u0107 on foreign policy and European integration, he became Executive Director of GMF\u2019s Balkan Trust for Democracy in 2003, an initiative dedicated to strengthening democratic institutions in Southeast Europe.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As one of the key figures in the democratic opposition movement in Yugoslavia during the 1990s, he focused on issues of democratic transition, totalitarianism, and post-war reconstruction in the Balkans. Since 2005, he has been a member of the ERSTE Foundation\u2019s Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Serbian PEN Centre and has been awarded the French National Order of Merit in the rank of Officer, as well as the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity, second class (Commendatore).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the mid-1990s, he worked at universities in the United States and the United Kingdom after graduating from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and completing postgraduate studies in philosophy at the University of Belgrade.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Jelena Mila\u0161inovi\u0107<\/b> has been the PR Manager and spokesperson of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013, where she oversees communication and marketing strategies, as well as development projects focused on social responsibility and brand promotion. She is the recipient of the prestigious <\/span>PRO PR GLOBE Award for 2024<\/b>, which recognizes individuals for their contributions to the public relations profession at the global, regional, and local levels. She has received numerous national awards for communication, PR and socially responsible campaigns. She is also a member of the international jury for the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards and has served on several professional and cultural-sector juries and expert commissions. She holds an MSc in Cultural Policy and Management in the Balkans from the University of Arts in Belgrade and is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Media and Communications. She also holds a degree in piano performance from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Human rights defender and Program Director for Europe at Civil Rights Defenders. He previously worked at the Humanitarian Law Center and, as a prominent expert and activist, focuses on advocacy, lobbying, and monitoring of human and minority rights. He has conducted numerous training programs in these areas. He is a member of the European Commission on Sexual Orientation Law, as well as the Organizing Committee of Belgrade Pride. Since 2011, he has served as Program Director for Europe at Civil Rights Defenders. Goran Mileti\u0107 holds a master\u2019s degree in Democracy and Human Rights.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Director of the Reparations and Transitional Justice Program at IOM Iraq (International Organization for Migration). She worked for more than 10 years at the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC), an organization dedicated to documenting mass atrocities committed during the Yugoslav wars and advocating for victims\u2019 rights. After leading an initiative for reparations for victims of the war from the Muslim minority in Sand\u017eak, the first official reparations program in the former Yugoslavia was adopted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In 2009, her work was recognized by Germany\u2019s Schwarzkopf Foundation, which awarded her the \u201cYoung European of the Year\u201d prize. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade in 2004 and earned a master\u2019s degree in International Human Rights Law from Northwestern University\u2019s Pritzker School of Law in Chicago.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Actor and director, and a member of the permanent ensemble of the Sarajevo War Theatre (SARTR). He made his film debut in Pjer \u017dalica\u2019s Fuse<\/em> (Gori vatra<\/em>), after which he went on to appear in numerous films and receive various awards and nominations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The film Full Moon<\/em> (Pun mesec<\/em>) was nominated by the European Film Academy for European Discovery of the Year, and Ukaj won the Best Actor award at the Cottbus Film Festival in Germany for his performance in the film. Quo Vadis, Aida?<\/em>, in which he played a supporting role, was nominated for an Academy Award. Through his collaborations with the Dardenne brothers, he is also a two-time Cannes winner, with Lorna\u2019s Silence<\/em> and The Unknown Girl<\/em> (La Fille inconnue<\/em>).<\/p>\n

He directed the films The Horse<\/em> (Konj<\/em>) and The Pit<\/em> (Jama<\/em>).
