My name is Jelena \u0106iri\u0107 Nikoli\u0107 (42). I am a PR and communications professional with more than ten years of experience in media, public, and digital communications. I live and work in Belgrade. I hold both Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in Journalism from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Throughout my professional career, I have focused on issues related to families, children, and mothers, with a clear aim to contribute to the improvement of public policies through information, public discourse, and advocacy. I worked at the Bebac.com platform for six years, including two years as Editor-in-Chief, where I initiated and edited content focused on violence prevention, maternal health, child safety, and strengthening parenting capacities. Through articles, analyses, and public appeals, I consistently highlighted gaps in existing legal frameworks and the need for systemic change. I currently work as a Brand, Communications, and Public Relations Associate at SOS Children\u2019s Villages Serbia, with a focus on prevention programmes and support for families at risk. Through strategic communications and public advocacy, I address issues of strengthening parental capacities, early intervention, and preventing the separation of children from their families, while ensuring a responsible and ethical approach to communicating sensitive social issues.
