My name is Bojana Angelov (42) and I come from In\u0111ija. By profession, I am a senior physiotherapist and a manual therapist and massage practitioner. I have been working in this field for the past year, during which I have met and worked with people of diverse backgrounds and personalities. From an early age, I was involved in journalism, hosting a children\u2019s radio program and later organizing various educational workshops for both adults and children. In addition, I organized and participated in projects in cooperation with the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of In\u0111ija\u2013Stara Pazova. Due to my progressive rare eye condition and personal life experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of people with different types of physical disabilities. This vulnerable group needs greater access to information, as well as stronger social integration and de-marginalization, especially at the local level, as we all share the same rights and needs. This led me to the idea of founding an association in my hometown, the <\/span>Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities in In\u0111ija<\/span><\/i>, which provides assistance and support to people with various types of physical disabilities as equal members of society. The organization operates at the local level and beyond, cooperating with other organizations and associations of a similar profile in order to achieve the highest possible quality of outcomes. We organize educational panels and workshops aimed at education, socialization, and professional orientation.
